lets focus on sleep, there are a few things you can do if you're feeling a bit under the weather, a little tired or just plain exhausted to ensure you get a better nights sleep.
if you are a bit snuffly then taking a hot shower before bed can help. the steam and humidity relieve stuffiness from a cold. it can also help you to relax and wind down. make sure your towel is on the radiator so it's nice and warm.
another way to relieve stuffiness is by elevating the head of your bed a little by putting a pillow under the mattress.
try to have a regular sleep schedule. even if you don;t stick to it 7 days a week, sleeping and waking at regular times can help regulate stress hormones and increase energy levels.
avoid caffeinated coffee and tea or alcohol before going to sleep, as well as bright light from the screens on your phone, tv or other electronic devices. these all act as stimulants to prevent you from winding down.
a relaxing herbal tea such as chamomile before bed can help you relax while also upping your fluid intake and keeping you hydrated.
