Borage. along with parsley and dill, it reseeds like *crazy* in my yard. but the bees love it and it’s easy to pull when it get too much. it prefers the cooler months in my garden; it’s at its best from late fall, winter and early spring. it turns yellow and stressed when the summer heat hits.
One of my favorite things to do during our summer visits at my parents' home in vermont is to arrange daily flower arrangements from their beautiful garden. today i picked wild queen anne's lace on my morning walk and added pink hydrangeas from the garden. i used a blue and white pitcher that belonged to my great grandmother that i found hiding in a closet. #myblueandwhitestyle

All growers in the uk are struggling, i’d like to share more pics with you but i just don’t have the time in this drought......i like my page to be more varied than just bouquets and posies and share what i’m growing and what i’m doing.....i’m sorry if i have not kept up on your posts but i’m in a groundhog day nightmare at the moment, along with other growers......
i’m in love with the zinnderellas at the moment, dancing delights in their tangerine and pink tones. thanks to @frenchlepard for sending me a big packet of the peach one, although i think more tangerine....
also she sent me some peach zinnia seed, much desired, much in packet and so thankful to have such considerate ig friends. unfortunately, if you look on swipe, peach is not a description i would apply.....
are all seed companies blind???? lovely to receive but more like 1980s neon, fluorescent orange. reminds me of socks at the time, fashionable but hardly gentle.......
i’ll try to work my magic with it and blend it with some chocolate colours. wish me luck....😳
it’s a trying time in this drought, i hope all my growing friends are coping and those not...hope you get to enjoy these hot days rather than toil through them.....
