Whipping up a little osso buco stew (perfect with this cold weather)! ossos are some of my favorites: incredibly flavorful and healthy, and they break down really well in a stew. .
to make your own: brown 2-4 ossos in a cast iron pan and a bit of oil, then put in stock p*t and cover the meat halfway with water, a squirt of lemon juice, and some fresh rosemary and garlic. cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours. 1 hour before dinner, add chopped veggies, seasonings, and more water to cover. i also like tomato sauce and a tiny bit of molasses (adds more flavor depth). then just boil for about 45 mins until the veggies are tender! the ossos will break down on their own during cooking. 🍴🥘 #meathackerblog#alderspringkitchen#alderspringcooking#realfood

Research shows that meat from pastured raised animals is more nutritionally dense than commercially raised animals. at @woodshilltable and @adelitaconcord, all of our meat comes directly from our pasture raised farm @thefarmatwoodshill in bath, nh. our fish is line caught in the new england waters.
This weekend should be gorgeous!
come out and see us from 8am to 12pm at the @matthews_market as we sample bone broth and let the spice smells reach up and make you actually want to cook.
we have worked hard for a easy to use lineup of broths and spices that make it easy for you to grocery shop and cook. no preservatives, anti-clotting agents, fillers, or pounds of salt. all ingredients are organic and non-irradiated. the bones are from farms we have inspected for purity and sustainability. no cutting corners, just a pure lineup hand made by our team here in charlotte.
