🇬🇧🇺🇸 taking a break from attending your vinyasa class doesn't mean stopping being engaged and present with yourself. take your break from attending class, and instead of feeling guilty – take a couple deep breaths and stay present, realizing that your body might need the break more than you do. i recently realized that i have to take a break from my yoga practice, it’s hard to realize and it’s also hard to tell to yourself that it’s ok. your body will thank you because it’s actually what you need at this time. listen to yourself 🤍.

kids throwing fits? refusing to listen? draining all of your energy? making you think you're a bad mom?
let's give ourselves a break, give ourselves praise, because we are to dang h*****n ourselves almost daily!
you're not a bad mom just because your parenting is different than another moms. you're no less of a good mom just because your kid(s) is acting out, it happens! you're not a terrible mom because you are tired and have no energy to clean the house!
you're not a bad mom!!!!
sit back, take a deep breath, repeat i am statements:
▪︎i am a good mom
▪︎i am beautiful
▪︎i am strong
write down and say aloud 3 positive things daily about yourself!
so i'm starting highschool next week. i struggle with pushing myself and working too much but i'm gonna try my best not to. i have been really happy lately and i had someone ask why i'm comfortable talking about such sensitive issues, well...im not. but i know it's comforting see a friend or someone who understands. so i'm not comfortable, but i am okay with it because i may help someone. i get told i'm attention seeking when i'm not seeking your attention, im seeking for society to see mental health as okay and there be more resources for mental health, since honestly, there needs to be. it's okay not to be okay, it's okay to be stressed, what's not okay is not reaching out for help when you need it. so yeah thanks for coming to my ted talk love ya bb.

Just arrived today! some unscented oat/milk powder to add to my baths. haven't had an oat bath since i was a baby, certainly more appealing then bleach baths. i'm hoping with this cooler weather this week and some good relaxation, my skin will be happy.
finding ways to relax is so important. often i get stuck in this loop of working myself to the point of exhaustion, sleeping it off and doing it all over again. so i'm learning to take some time to actually step back and relax, giving my body the chance to catch up. i dont have to be moving all day every day to fill the time. taking a day to just sit and lounge without feeling guilty for wasting the day away is an adjustment i'm learning to make.

Journaling is a key component of trading success... i will break down currency pairs and annotate, write conclusions before and after each trade i take to build on analysis and the continued principle of never stop learning!!! from doing a free live market break down the market has moved around 800 pips in favour of the currency pairs that were broken down for free. time to step back and enjoy the rest of the week. #takeabreak#trading#forex#forextrader#weback#astrofx

Yeahhhh, so here’s the thing. i kinda did just that last week...though admittedly i ate more than bagels 🤷🏼♀️sometimes, you need to slow down and unplug. especially if you’ve pushed yourself really hard. there’s no shame in rest and recovery. in fact, i plan for it.
and if you’re a fellow workaholic, girl, i’ve got your number. take the d**n break. you’ll be better off for it. and on the flip side, you know when it’s time to work. so honor that too! 😉 #rest#mindsetiseverything#takeabreak

Change my mind: coffee tastes better when camping 🏕
im thankful for the wonderful long weekend with eric & the pups - sprinkled with some fun visits from the family - to remind me how important it is to take a break 💚 🏕💚 #gorving#campingcoffee#takeabreak
Yesterday, i felt overwhelmed with work and things on my to do list and "due list." i looked out my window and happened to see this little rabbit just relaxing and staring at the flowers and i thought, "i need to be like this rabbit!" i snapped this pic as a reminder (plus it was cute!) and right after that did a 10-minute meditation using my calm app. just what i needed! did it again today. so, here's your reminder from me and the bunny: take a break!

When you feel everything building up, give yourself a #break.
the main point of plotting a work schedule is to follow it, another fifteen minutes would result to another thirty minutes and by the time you realized what time it is, it is already midnight and yet, you still have not finished it all.
Who knows what adventures are ahead...it can only start if you take the first step...get your feet wet, break the mundane...go where man and nature are are in complete synergy with each other.it is only then your eyes begun to open.

i think learning when to take a break is important.
knowing when your mind and body need to rest at some point in order to keep functioning at its best.
to take the time to regain all your energy that you’ve given to your life, your work, your relationships.
for those of you who know me, i’ve moved around a lot for the last 8 years of my life. but in every place i’ve lived, i’ve had my ‘spot’ that i would go to, to recharge and take a break. the top of a rock, top of a mountain, a quiet beach. some where that i could reflect, capture my thoughts and feelings, and then clear my mind.
remember to slow down. take a break. clear your mind. fill up your own cup so that you can show up for you.
Every day , i learn a little more that perception really is everything. it’s so much easier to look at the downside of things before you look at the good that’s happening. i’m not quite sure why that is. i literally had to retrain my mind to look at things differently....in a way that wasn’t so negative. it hasn’t been easy, but i’m working on it. it’s not always about the destination, but the journey.
What the heck is eft??
eft stands for emotional freedom technique, also known as tapping therapy.
it can help to:
👊🏻 relieve chronic pain
❤️ bring ease to emotional challenges
🔅 support healing of psychological disorders
👁 release and let go of the hurt from past traumas.
when practicing eft, you focus your attention on the problem that you are experiencing while tapping on 9 or 10 acupuncture points (a few shown above).
after a few rounds of tapping, you’ll notice the pain or discomfort you were feeling is less.
you feel less bothered by the issue you were tapping on.
i like using the number system of tracking my progress; 10 being the most intense or most painful, and 0 is not bothered by the issue at all.
i use this technique in my meditation practice quite often, and i’ll be taking a course to teach others how to tap into their own healing.
i’m so excited to help others release their own limiting beliefs and strengthen their confidence and love within themselves.
have you tried tapping before? let me know in the comments below!👇🏼

Let’s chit chat 🍏
this chardonnay is aged in steel instead of the traditional oak-aged style. what this means for you is that chit chat has a crisp chardonnay flavor to it. instead of the traditional notes of butter or oak prevalent in other chardonnays, you get to taste a cleaner version of the grape itself with notes of green apple and lime zest. this gorgeously zingy white wine is perfect for a plethora of porch activities like watching the rain, beating the summer heat, or celebrating national white wine day ❤️ chit chat chardonnay
can anyone tell me the name of our photobomber??

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗬𝗼𝘂 - do a random act of kindness. send a note or text to a friend or loved one letting them know you're thinking of them and how much you appreciate that s/he is in your life. this will brighten both your days!
i don’t know about you, but these past few months i have found myself consuming so much.
i’m talking about media and social media.
this week i decided to take a break from all of the consumption. i’m so grateful i did 🙏🏼
do you need a detox?
