“me, give up carbs? 😳 over my bread body! 🍞🥖😂
happy weekend friends! 😆🤸🏻♀️i cant tell you how good it feels to eat fresh bread again! it’s been a really long time as i avoided it to help heal my stomach and before that i avoided it because it can sometimes cause an ibs flare up. but i’m feeling so much better now and i learned a very valuable lesson when i was sick in that food is healing and food is energy. it’s not a great idea to eliminate any food groups unless you have a genuine reason ( allergies, intolerances, celiac etc obvs avoid them 💁🏻♀️) your body needs carbs in some form ! for the love of god please don’t cut carbs 🙈 fill up on whole grains and complex carbohydrates as they contain fibre, protein, valuable vitamins, minerals and b vitamins. it didn’t do me any favours cutting out these important foods because i ended up eating a mostly raw food diet for a long time which did me more harm than good and in fact made my ibs and gut issues much worse! it’s been a lot of trial and error for me this past year but its payed off and now i’m eating a much more varied diet with no adverse affects so far. if i start to react badly i will of course hold off the bread but for now i’m doing good on these delicious organic seeded sourdough bread rolls and i feel more energised each and every day 🙌🏻 i added sweet toppings of course because i always have a sweet brekky 😍 natural coconut yogurt with blueberry purée on one and chia jam, cherries and dark chocolate on the other 🍫😍 absolutely scrumptious 😋
