gerrenliles From one of my far-away inspirations... deaf, blogger, trainer, and burpee queen @liftlivelead ... no intro needed . . repost from @liftlivelead using @repostregramapp - i’m going to talk about self image! i don’t normally talk about it, but this picture made me think. i did a short shoot a bit ago and i remember feeling a little too bulky because i hadn’t started my next program yet (but it was so fun)! i didn’t think i’d share this one. then i thought: back up for a hot minute. there’s nothing wrong here. i am strong af. on the inside and outside. my body and bulky core are a reflection of my resilience. # fun fact: i used to be afraid of wearing sport bras. one day this past spring, i saw the cutest sport bra and thought…screw it. i’m going to rock it. i have a mind and body that can do muscle ups, take risks in life and love, that can jump 42 inches high and climb anything in sight, and turn setbacks into opportunities, even if the setback is emotionally tough or…something like eating a whole pizza. 😁 # see and understand your beauty based on your commitment to to be your best self, and allow it to project. # this is also timely…’tis holiday season. woof. bubbles, burpees and the occasional cookie are everything right now. it’s easy to feel guilty. i accept it because our bodies are in constant flux. just like our emotions. # so if you’re not feeling positive about your body image, get up and move. (do burpees.)when thoughts on your self-image trickle in, and it’s not what you like, feel the feelings then change direction. # i train to to stay strong mentally, and the rest will follow. stay consistent, evolve with the up and downs, and i’m here to do it with you.
