Found the perfect spot overlooking plitvice lakes minus all the crowds.
as much as i enjoyed walking along the boardwalks i definitely preferred the view from the top. not having to push through hordes of tourists might have something to do with that 😂

Throwback to staying at the @scuba_lodge with @curacaotb and @hannahrheaume 🙌 have you ever been diving before? i’ve always wanted to get certified, and i wish i’d had the chance to do it while i was staying at the scuba lodge! then i’d be able to do dive trips! 💦 is scuba diving something you’re interested in? #rsjsincuraçao

Almost exactly 7 years ago to the day i made my first ever trip to europe with my school, fit. i was going through a very rough transitionary phase and at that time i couldn’t have ever imagined that i’d be back here now, working remotely and traveling the world. i feel so grateful and lucky to be doing this.
it’s just such a great reminder that even when we feel like our life isn’t going the way we want or even when we are at our lowest, we always rise again. usually to something so much greater than we could have ever imagined for ourselves.
try taking your goals and then aim even higher. we don’t have to know how we’re going achieve them, we just have to believe that the universe will conspire to take us there.

Streets of marbella📍 yep this is me from the front 🙊 pictures like this are really rare, because i don't feel comfortable when i'm in front of a camera. i get really really nervous & i have no idea where to look & how to hold my arms and hands, withouth looking totally ridiculous😁 that's why my feed is full of pictures of my back 😌 do you sometimes feel uncomfortable with arranged photos? or are you a confident in front of the camera? 📷
today, i couldn't help but eavesdrop on these girls in the bus on my way to nyc. they basically were around me through most of my journey and that's when it struck me that it really opens up your mind when you travel with people around you.
for instance, when i clicked this picture all i thought was how aesthetic it would look on my feed but one of those girls spoke about how every single building is different in it's own way but it's all still the same because it's a concrete jungle. she said although every architect worked so hard to shape a building into something new it always melted into its surroundings.
that's when i felt like i wasn't enjoying that empire state of mind (iykwim) the thrill of experiencing things by myself didn't hit me until an absolute stranger pointed it out in a conversation that i wasn't even a part of.
the point being, it's important to just be, live in the moment and just be.
