Soooo i just discovered mel robbins. maybe a lot of you know who she is already. imagine my surprise when i hear her speak and she's saying something i've been pushing for years!!!! except she does so more eloquently, more succinctly, and more charismatically then i ever have or could ! she's brilliant! my theory- when you start something, anything, you will not be motivated to do it. you must dig deep and just make yourself do it. and then over time this new way of being will become your norm and it will no longer feel like such a chore. well mel calls this the 5 second rule. she describes in her talks and her book how motivation is c**p and hesitation is the culprit to not doing the things we want to do. her theory on the knowledge-action gap= mind 💥 blown! i just pre-ordered her book from amazon because i'm officially a groupie.
