but changing his diet wasn't exactly easy. given his southern upbringing, ne-yo admitted that cutting out pork, specifically, wasn't something he'd imagined.
after a little coaxing from a friend who reassured him that a plant-based diet would reverse the effects of tendinitis, he knew he needed to make the change. within 2 weeks of going vegan, his tendinitis had cleared up completely, in addition to other improvements, like clearer skin and weight loss.

dr. neal barnard from @physicianscommittee has an entire book about the addictive properties of dairy!
now, i get it. if we do this for our health, and we stop eating dairy (and btw - do not freak out, because you will still get calcium if you do not eat dairy), it may not be enough of a reason to quit it for good.
the hardest part is if you keep going back and forth! it'll just keep your body forever addicted to this stuff!
so what is my suggestion?
learn about the dairy industry. and open your heart and soul when you do.
it is truly horrific stuff. separation of mothers and babies, r**e of animals to impregnate them, and death of many innocent beings.
