If you are like me, an evening snack post dinner is a must. i have a huge sweet tooth and always tempted to reach for something sweet. i have been snacking on this date + @traderjoes almond butter + cocoa powder combo these past weeks and i had to share it with you guys. it is absolutely delicious. the natural sweetness of the dates in combo with the healthy fats from the almond butter is the perfect night cap. i have been having 2-3 and i highly recommend. don’t take it from me though! try it for yourself 😉

a p***y wagon full of irate food policers 👮♂️🥦 are about to raid the comment section of this post to profess how “irresponsible” and “immoral” it is for me to suggest fritos and cheese dip could sit on the same graphic as organic corn chips and guacamole…
well here’s the truth:
something can be "organic" & purchased at a health food store, but that does not make it magically better for losing weight ❌
organic chips & guacamole are a fantabulous example...
avocados 🥑 (you know, the main piece of the guacamole puzzle 💁) are full of healthy fats, but those healthy fats bring along a buttload of extra calories too.
the "organic" corn chips? i'm not even going to get started on those 🙄...
just know that, for losing fat, they're pretty much identical to regular chips.
my recommendation ✅: if you enjoy eating chips & guac (preferably alongside a delicious chipotle burrito 🌯😋), then go ahead and eat 'em up! just make sure they fit within your nutrition targets, and you get plenty of protein & veggies the rest of the day 🍖🥗👌
oh, and pay attention to your portions… them chips ’n’ guac calz can add up fast, y'all 😘✌️
ps. i'm not saying fritos and cheese dip are the better option. really, neither of these snacks is all that great for losing f*t anyway. instead, this is to show how even “organic" snack foods can pack a high-calorie punch

When you don't think you're artistically inclined & then you create marble pancakes right before your very own eyes 😵😉! i am no longer concerned that it's #wafflewednesday! also, i'm up for discussion as to whether this is considered breakfast or dessert! 😜

simple mills pancake mixed with @vitalproteins dark chocolate sports greens smothered with @fourthandheart chocti (chocolate ghee) drizzled with peanut butter (that's when the marble creation came to life) apples sautéed in vanilla ghee with cinnamon, cardamom, & nutmeg. sprinkled with bee pollen & garnished with golden raspberries!
I completed my #whole30 !!! overall i feel really great. i have more energy, when i wake up in the morning, it isn’t hard to get out if bed, and i feel motivated to keep eating healthy! i lost 5.6 pounds and 2 inches around my waist! i’m not stopping here because i am not at m goal weight. for now, i plan on eating mostly paleo with some dairy. i plan on starting another #whole30 at the end of july after i go on vacation! #iamwhole30
D10m1: same coffee as yesterday and the day before (@chameleoncoldbrew with @thenewbarn almond milk and @califiafarms coconut creamer) and i also had two hard boiled eggs from the hotel buffet 💁🏼♀️ i have o**l allergy syndrome aka i have an allergic reaction to the leftover pollen on some uncooked fruits 🤦🏼♀️ (so nerdy, i know) and bananas, grapes and avocados are the fruits that i can’t eat uncooked... well since starting #whole30 i’ve been able to eat raw avocado with no issues, so.. i guess we will find out about this banana! usually i can tell within a second or two of eating it if it’s going to bother me, so i have an epic bar or lara bar as back up 🤞🏻 i have heard that #whole30 can get rid of some allergies, which is my number one reason why i’m doing a #whole30round 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
