'it is said that ravens with wolves can form a pact. if a raven sees an injured animal, he would look for a wolf and attract his attention. after the wolf has finished the prey, the raven would eat it further. it is also known that ravens use 'tools'; they pick food from cavities with chopsticks and c***k nuts with stones. the raven can imitate sounds from its environment, such as the human voice''

Some experiences are just mind blowing and stay fresh in your memory forever. one such, is the trip( march’18)to the semien mountains in ethiopia, the only place where you can hope to see the most fascinating, and the last surviving species of ancient grazing primates, the gelada baboons, otherwise called the bleeding heart monkey. an endangered old world monkey species, they have impressive giant manes and weird flat faces. while they are generally calm and peaceful, these herbivores have been known to attack humans in the wild, savagely and violently. we had the good fortune of spending couple of hours with a huge troop of 250-300 of them , really up close(sometimes less than 2 feet away)and amongst them and they completely ignored our presence and avoided eye contact with us. all they did was continuously forage the grass for seeds and blade for hours and groom each other frequently#geladababoon#monkey#ethiopianwildlife#wildlifephotographs#canonphotography#canonindiaofficial#canonlover #photographers_of_earth#natgeowildlife#naturephotograpy#africawildlife
