Hip mobility: paused kb goblet squat
.
this exercise is great for providing neuromuscular reeducation (teaching your body how to use a newly obtained range of motion) after you have spent time stretching and performing mobility exercises for your hips.
.
once you have stretched or mobilized any joint, it is imperative to then follow up with an exercise or movement that uses this newly obtained range of motion. by doing so, this helps teach the body to establish a new "normal" range of motion that can and should be used during function or while weight lifting!
.
give these a try, be sure to perform 20-30 of these after stretching/mobilizing your hips to help prepare you for a heavy leg day in the gym!

great for increasing grip strength and rotator cuff activation!๐Ÿ”ฅ
.
typically, a traditional overhead press is heavily dominated by the deltoid and trapezius muscles; however, by incorporating the inverted kb additional effort from muscles of the rotator cuff and forearm are needed to help maintain stability throughout this movement.
.
additionally, by incorporating horizontal abduction/adduction (arm moving across your body horizontally) into this movement these smaller muscles must work even harder to ensure the kettlebell remains stable.
.
the reason for the half kneel position is to help eliminate any compensation from lack of trunk stability. the half kneel position helps lock your pelvis into place giving the ability to focus a little less on maintaining a stiff trunk and more on maintaining stability in the shoulder. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ’ช
.
give these a try during your next shoulder workout as an assistive exercise after you have completed a typical military or overhead press! ๐Ÿ‹๏ธ

a throw back to a shoulder workout from earlier in the week . i love workouts that involve functional movements i can really feel the areas i am trying to target . try it out! i like to do 8, 10 , and 12 reps in 3 sets of both directions . try to keep challenging yourself i know i do, it helps to avoid getting into a stale routine where you stop seeing results . stay positive ! stay focused and stay goal hungry ! you can do it ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ˜Ž

in order to gain one pound of f*t you would need to overeat by over 3,500 calories! so most of the weight you gained the next morning is water, so don’t freak outโ—๏ธ

don’t: โŒafter overeating, used to do ‘hate’ cardio and restrict my eating the next day. i’ve been there and i know it doesn’t help. it actually pushed me further back.

do: โœ… get back to your normal training and eating routine asap. the sooner you get back the better. avoid doing ‘hate’ cardio or doing excessive exercise to deal with the guilt. this does not form a healthy relationship with exercise.

๐Ÿง mindset is really important. accept what has happened, look at the positives, and move on!

๐Ÿ’šfitness is a long game. in the long run a weekend of enjoying yourself won’t matter. what will matter is how soon you get back to making progress! so get back to your routine and be grateful that you had a good weekend!

kalian harus cari tau dulu "kenapa" kalian mau turunin bb / naikin bb / atau apapun goals yg pengen kalian achieve dr bentuk tubuh kalian. sama aja kaya apapun yg kalian mau capai dlm hidup... kalian harus tau dl kan "kenapa", krn kl kalian gatau tujuannya untuk apa itulah penyebab akhirnya kalian mudah menyerah dan cenderung ga akan ngelakuinnya dengan konsisten.. tau dulu tujuan kalian, kenapa dilakukan.. krn itulah yg jd sumber motivasi kalian..

a pyramid workout can be done several ways. for this workout you start out with light weights and high reps. this gives your muscles an endurance workout, activating mostly slow-twitch muscle fibers. as you gradually move up the pyramid, the weight  becomes heavier and the reps are lowered. doing this will help you build strength which helps burns more fat

๐Ÿ’•tips for this workout๐Ÿ’•:

โ—ป2-3 sets of 12, 10, 8, 20 reps for each exercise โ—ปstart at a weigh you can first do with 12 reps, then select another weight you can perform immediately after for 10 reps, and so on
โ—ปthere isnt a rest between the reps (if you must take a rest no more than 30secs)
โ—ป1 set will equal 50 reps=12+10+8+20
โ—ปrest 2-3mins between each set
