The greatest worship movement is the one that starts in your home. 1 timothy 3:5 says, “if anyone does not know how to manage his own family, how can he take care of god's church?”
so many times in scripture we see that our external ministry (the way we serve and interact with others - not just on a pulpit) is directly connected to our family ministry. i have found that when my marriage and family life is solid, the anointing flows with so much more ease.
how can we except to see a world-wide worship culture blossom if we can’t see the one in our families blossom?
i would love to hear your .02 on this! tag you family and spiritual family!

I’m stunned at how many people come up and tell me how “radical” they think we are for trumpeting non-stop, 24/7 worship.
in heaven, perpetual adoration of jesus seems to be the only appropriate response to his greatness! day and night worship is not radical friends! it’s normal!

I remember years ago when i was a young worship leader, i was leading worship and we had hit a wild moment in the meeting! i mean, it was insane! people were going absolutely bananas, running around, jumping shouting, dancing, laughing... etc. in the midst of this explosive outbreak of joy and celebration, there was a young man sitting on the front row. he was just sitting there not doing anything.
my heart began to judge him as i thought, “how can he just sit there? doesn’t he know how worthy jesus is? this is a celebratory moment and he’s just sitting there!”... instantly the lord spoke to my heart. “the only worship you should judge is your own. what if he had a condition where all he could ever do was jump and shout? how do you know i haven’t healed him from that and now his worship expression is to finally sit still in my presence?”
you don’t know what someone has gone though. you don’t know what they are believing for. you don’t know what’s going on inside. this goes for individuals all the way up to big worship movements and brands! stop judging other’s worship expression and start judging your own!
what do you think? tag a friend and join the conversation..

“let hope arise”
today’s message at church reminded me/us that it’s far more important for us to be involved with god than it is to be involved with the things god is involved with. without a relationship with the father, our good works are just religion.
