Day 9 whole30 and going strong. thanks to the more than 5000 of you who are joining me virtually! if you want in, enter on the blog. smoky cauliflower soup, which is just perfect for a day like today. i start by creating a spice blend including smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt and some other favorites. toss with olive oil and spices, roast in a hot oven for 40 minutes, and throw in garlic at the end for a few minutes to caramelize. it’s as easy as blending this with one of my @whole30 magic elixirs: homemade chicken stock. reserve some florettes to add on top, then garnish with a squeeze of lemon.

Y’all spoke and i listened! 🙌🏻you wanted the recipe for #2ingredientdough cherry pie popovers and i’m delivering. 🍒🎉 and guess what, i made apple pie popovers, too, and i like them even better!!! 😍 see below for recipe details.
ingredients: - 1/2c gold medal self rising flour
- 1/2c nonfat plain greek yogurt
- light or sugar free cherry pie filling or apple pie filling (depending on which you use, points will change)
- egg/egg whites (for egg wash)
- cinnamon - wide mouth mason jar lid or circle cookie cutter - small rolling pin
instructions for 2 ingredient dough:
mix 1/2c gold medal self rising flour (5sp) with a smidge less than 1/2c nonfat greek yogurt (0sp- i use chobani), a pinch of salt is optional (i don’t use it). i find using too much yogurt makes the dough too sticky to work with. mix ingredients in bowl with spatula until crumbly, you don’t want any huge clumps of yogurt. transfer crumbly mixture to lightly floured surface and begin to work all pieces together, kneading for a minute or two until the dough is not sticky. .
instructions for popovers:
preheat oven to 450. roll dough out, not too thin, and cut 3 circles (i always have a little bit of dough left over). take one circle, roll out dough again so it’s slightly bigger and thinner, careful not to make it too thin. put approximately 1tbsp filling into the center and fold over. seal sides by pinching and use fork to press around edges. repeat with other circles. brush egg wash on each popover. bake at 450 for 10-15 minuets until popovers are golden. take out, brush on egg wash (again) and top with 1/4tsp sugar and cinnamon sugar on each. bake for an additional 2 minuets. i hope you love these as much as i do! enjoy! .
cherry pie popovers (using light cherry pie filling) are 3sp each. apple pie popovers (using sugar free apple pie filling) are 2sp for 1 or 5sp for 2. .

my husband brought home mushroom garlic food truck pizza last night and i didn’t flip out because weigh in was the next morning, i ate what i had points for and went to bed happy☺️ i caught myself trying to weigh in again after nursing the baby though and was like “knock it off psycho”😂
trying really hard not to get weird about weigh-ins because they’re just a way of tracking progress, but i know they can fluctuate wildly and i’m going to work real hard to keep myself from getting obsessive about it❤️
feels so good to be heading in the right direction again😆
While the baby naps, i made myself a little #wwbreakfast i took some leftover potatoes & veggies i roasted last week and charred them in the skillet, then removed them and added 2 eggs and a sprinkle of ff cheese topped with some fresh chives. 2 points! 💁🏻
