As the birds flew over the spectacular monument and the trees stood still, admiring, with patience, the beauty of a scene so beautiful, so mesmerizing, she waited beside me, silently. i sneaked a glance at her and smiled at the innocence with which she adored the monument. 'how pretty she is!' i wondered, recalling all those times she had been there beside me, always, while i'd wander from place to place and monument to monument in search of a good click.
and as everything tuned down a bit, lower than the lowest decibels, i whispered silently into her ear, 'thank you'. she looked back at me and laughed with a laughter so charming, like wind chimes tinkling in the breeze. 'thank you', i said again and felt her head rest breathlessly on my shoulder. caption credit :- @alina0781
