Just a few of these stunning ankole cow horn vases left in stock! made in uganda by an organization dedicated to protecting the sacred ankole cattle, these beauties are actually by-products of the meat industry and would otherwise go to waste. swipe right to see a photo of the incredible ankole-you won't be disappointed! 🐂🐄 (photo by @alicialewinphotography)
Our beaded jewelry is handcrafted according to centuries of maasai tradition in arusha, tanzania. the artisans are paid fairly for their work, creating pieces made with high quality glass beads and innovative up cycled materials such as plastic boning made from yogurt cups and threads made from recycled rice bags. the entire process is honoring to tradition while pushing the boundaries of what is expected. we are in love!
Photo shoot outtakes! @alicialewinphotography captured my lovely friend's essence so perfectly here - i couldn't resist posting. ☺️the necklace is a one-of-a-kind touareg piece from morocco - click the photo to find out more. 😘

Even in all this darkness, there is still so much love. its like fred rogers said, “when i was a boy and i would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, 'look for the helpers. you will always find people who are helping.'"⠀
i know things are still hard, but look for the helpers. in las vegas, in houston, in florida, in south east asia, in mexico, in puerto rico - they are everywhere, and they are amazing. ( 📷 @blackliststudio)

Ever inspired by the careful and loving work of the knitters at @gogoolive in zimbabwe. the ladies of gogo olive knit adorable animals by hand from their homes or from gogo olive's bright studio workspace. there is also a prison rehabilitation program that allows ladies currently serving a prison sentence to earn an income, which in turn makes sure that their children are still in school and provided for. what a beautiful model!
